In the "Intelligent" pills Raisin, a microchip is embedded so that when a patient take them in their system, the chip automatically measures patients' medical condition and decide if the patient is taking the medicine on a regular basis. All these information is sent from the chip to the patch shown on the left. This patch then sends the information to your mobile phone to inform you with all the information collected with the pills.

Advantages
The advantage of the pills are that the pills are relatively cheap and can be readility afforded by people. This allows globalization of the use. Also, using these pills can prevent many physically failure, which would then reduce the cost for visiting hospitals.
Disadvantages
The disadvantage is that the use of these pills can cause privacy and security issues as patient's personal medical information is involved and it needs to be secured. Reliability is another issue since if the pill malfunctions and give misleading suggestions or results, it could lead to more problems.
